Angels in Action Resource Center has donated to individual families, group homes, schools, crisis agencies, and more. We are dedicated to serving angelically in North Carolina and beyond by providing resources with dignity, respect, and love to those who find themselves in need.

Angels in Action Resource Center was born out of love and determination…
Seddrick and Kornelia Purcell were givers in their community, with a heart for helping others. They found themselves surrounded by that love and assistance when Seddrick’s health began to fail in 2005 and medical bills overtook their ability to cover their basic needs. On January 1, 2020, Seddrick gained his angelic wings, leaving Kornelia and their children heartbroken, but with a sense of purpose– determined to help those who were fighting silent battles as she and Seddrick had.
Kornelia began searching for the best deals she could get on anything that would help families in her community, from clothing to toiletries to paper products, as well as school supplies, and essential home goods. Her family, friends, and faith community supported these efforts, and through donations of time, money, and household items, this one-woman passion project became a local movement. In March of 2023 Angels in Action Resource Center was confirmed as an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are dedicated to serving angelically in North Carolina and beyond by providing resources with dignity, respect, and love to those who find themselves in need.
